It is comedy, which is something Republicans don't understand. Seeing conservatives clutch their pearls about this is like watching a caveman bang a flashlight on the ground trying to figure out the magic.

Already a thread about this and it's also already been proven to be an ad ABOUT VOTING, nothing more and nothing less.

Only a campaign that is either full of horrible people, or extremely desperate, would run this ad, especially with 12 days to go.

I dare them to run this ad in swing states if they are so proud of it. And I guess where they got the idea? I bet it was from Putin, who had an ad not that far from this same idea.

I dont care what number you see and what you dont see Bring. I care what happens on Nov 6. And if you dont think a campaign that isnt desperate would run this ad, your nuts.

It's currently #2 in the left column on Drudge, so we can expect about 5 more posts on this.

Sure, if you consider winning "in freefall"
Romney has less than a 30% chance of winning the election, and that number is continuing to drop.
President Obama is projected to win the night with approximately 330 EVs.

So clear that many don't know who Lena Dunham is, WHY she would do this ad, and WHO it's targeted to.

I'm not a giant fan of her work but she is probably the hottest young writer/director in Hollywood right now and is being hailed as the voice of her generation. She has attracted a massive following of highly educated, creative young women.

A voting ad from her targets very specifically "her" demographic, her followers.

There is nothing desperate or "low" about this ad. BOTH campaigns are firing on all cylinders working night and day to motivate their voter turnout and convince the last few fence sitters to choose them. BOTH campaigns are trying to hit every corner of their potential voters.

This is a very specifically targeted ad for a specific demo. Why would you "dare" them to run it in a place that it isn't targeted to?

This forum is so bizarre sometimes. For a group that TALKS about politics so much, most show a startling lack of knowledge about actual campaigning (and media).

No conservative would get away with this ad. And for this to be defended by the idiots screaming about binders and big bird, wow.

This is a new low. Going the Putin route with this ad shows a new low. Their target audience, as usual, is the moron vote
