Obama could bungle this a la Katrina and the MSM would still cover for him. Chris Matthews would get all tingly, Madcow and the rest would sing his praises unto the heavens and the masses would weep in adoration.

One thing for sure, since this is hitting the east coast it is ALL that we will be hearing about for days afterward. Campaign "messages" will be kicked to the curb as the eastern press examines every detail of the storm no matter how boring for the rest of us. It is already happening.

Sure, but a hell of a lot of people live along the eastern seaboard, a lot along coasts, rivers and other vulnerable places. As our VP would say, a big f$#$in' deal.

Ads are the least of it.
If millions are without power for a week or more, how will they vote on the 6th?
