I imagine Romney went camping as a kid with his dad. Doubt Obama ever did any outdoors stuff,he was mostly raised by women.

I dont think obama would know how to start a fire. Romney looks like the boy scout cub leader type. I bet he has a bunker filled with a yrs worth of stuff in case of a nuke war. He comes prepared for any situation.

Who will survive better?

Down-to-earth Obama or Rich-Romney?

Not sure that Obama is very down to earth as long as he's worked in the government sector, and he is definitely rich.

To lefties, 'down to earth' means cursing in public, making stupid, snarky comments about romnesia, that kind of thing. He has no class, no good breeding, no good manners. That puts him on their level, which is dirt level, so I suppose by those standards, he is down to earth.

We all should have yrs worth of stuff in case of an Obama re-election. if you do, mums the word, if the left finds out they will demand Obama take it and redistribute it.

In emergencies people need to work and bond together. Obama shows time and again that he is comfortable and skilled communicating with people of all stripes. Romney consistently fails to click with regular people from cookie makers to olympic planners to people of color.

The answer is obvious...

Since Sandy will hit the northeast, not the northwest, under your scenario both would do just fine. A storm 3000 miles away wouldn't affect either one of them much.

If both were caught by a storm, both would do fine. The White House has it's own power supplies and is strong and substantial. Folks as rich as Romney live in well built homes and they, too, often have their own generators.

A better question to ask would be: Who is better prepared to survive Sandy? Former President George H W Bush or Charlie Smith, the guy who owns the dry cleaning shop in the Hamptons? Both are gonna get hit. One can leave before the storm or bunker up in his home, the other will certainly stay and bunker in his home. Both have been hit many times by storms before, so both will most likely be able to survive pretty well, but both will lack conveniences for some time.
