If Romney wins, who should be in his cabinet? I nominate John Bolton for State, Steve Forbes for Treasury, Petraeus for Defense, Issa for Attorney General. Who else?

I like all the people you mentioned so far, but not really sure about the appointments you suggest. I do like Bolton a lot and since he has already served in a similar capacity... that would be fine with me. I think Portman would be a good choice for something and I would like to think that Romney would be bigger than others and also appoint a qualified democrat as well for a position or two. Show that he is indeed going to work across the aisles. I so hope this comes to be reality. Well, a week from today!

I can appreciate humor but only when it's there I was hoping that others would offer additional suggestions. seemed like a good reasonable topic to me.

His campaign has said that they thought Bernanke did a great job and yes, I realize this is not a cabinet position and while Romney said he would not renominate Bernanke, he would nominate someone like him.

This statement sealed the deal against me voting for him.

Not a bad choice given her areas of expertise.

She is also very energetic.

She would certainly be a more exciting SecEn than Steven Chu.

Sarah Palin as Secretary of State, because Russia is near Alaska.
Ann Coulter as Press Secretary, because she spins news like a top....and she's scary.
Dr. Kevorkian as Secretary of HHS, because he likes dead people.
Donald Trump as comic relief.
