lol, unfortunately you are probably right. The damage from the left is deep.

I wonder if people realize that at this time everyone will lose the Bush tax cuts and everyone will pay more in taxes = less take home pay. There is no reason for Obama to extend them for anyone. Obama said he would veto an extension and make everyone pay more in taxes if he does not get his way. Obama wants more tax revenue so why would he care?

Romney will have to move mountains against the democrats to extend them for everyone. The house voted to extend the bush tax cuts for everyone, now we wait for congress.

I don't get this argument where Obama thinks people who already pay taxes should pay "a little bit" more. When we have so many that refuse to work and have never paid taxes. Why don't we insist they do a little bit more?.. like get a job

You would have just made a good point if everything you said weren't false.

You obviously don't know the tax code cchampagne. AND! The expiration of the Bush tax cuts for everyone is already set in stone. These tax cuts expire for "everyone" starting January 1, 2013. Remember, all the promises Obama made, well words are cheap. Obama got exactly what he wanted.

Democrats in Congress are now saying that they would rather see taxes go up on every American at the end of the year than let about a million businesses keep what they earn now.

Virtually every Republican in Congress has taken the pledge, never to vote for a tax increase... a pledge both parties see as a serious impediment to a tax compromise. But if tax rates snap back to the levels of the Clinton presidency on Jan. 1, any legislation to reinstate some of those tax cuts but not all of them — would be considered a tax cut.

Child tax credit expires: Falls to $500 per child from $1,000. The refundable portion also reduced.

Marriage penalty relief: Expires. Effectively that means a low- or middle-income two-earner couple will owe more to the IRS than they would if they were single making the same income.

Income tax rates: Rise to 15%, 28%, 31%, 36% and 39.6%, up from 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33% and 35%.
Capital gains rate: Rises to 20% from 15% for most filers.

Those are just a few that will expire and all (except the dependent class) Americans will pay higher taxes.

Anyone who votes or voted for Obama, if you work and pay taxes just voted yourself a tax increase.

Never vote to increase taxes on anyone because it will eventually reach you. An example of this happening is the Alternative Minimum Tax. A tax imposed on the rich. the government so cleverly did not include adjustment for inflation. Now millions more middle class will pay Alternative Minimum tax.

For tax year 2012, the alternative minimum tax exemption amounts are scheduled to revert to $45,000 for married couples filing jointly, $33,750 for single and head of household filers and $22,500 for married couples filing separately.

No- he will just drift through the next 4 years like he did the last 4 years...It will be uneventful. You get what you pay for and buyer's remorse will not take place for at least another 5 years..buy then it will be exactly like the Bush double term- You will get nothing for your money. It looks like Americans have gotten use too non-performance Presidents. Long as you don't have nuclear war I guess that will be some sort of future success.

The system has peaked..the flower has bloomed and now turns to seed. You will just have to ride out the dull drums. It will be a lot like crossing the Atlantic in the year 1500...A ship at sea and not a puff of wind. Be glad that nothing is going to happen...just be happy to get something to eat and a roof over your head.
