You're truly delusional, and you're a nice indication of how out of touch the right is with reality.

I oppose a lot of Obama's policies, but to suggest that when he says he wants to invest in the future (education, infrastructure, energy, etc.), he really means "destroy America, this country that I hate" is absurd.

For all his failings, he wants and needs America to do well, and if we can't have a real conversation about how to move forward from here then you and your ilk will be continually alienated.

As a side note, I enjoy how much the right-winger posters rail against debt, but when we start talking about cutting military spending, raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans, and closing loopholes that allow large businesses to evade paying their taxes, there is nothing but wailing and gnashing.

An interesting article.

Adviser: Romney "shellshocked" by loss - CBS News

It sounds like they weren't just rallying the troops -- it sounds like the Romney campaign actually thought it would win right up to the end.

I was shell shocked when I read that article. These morons really believed their own hype when there was good scientifically-based polling data and analysis that showed exactly what was going to transpire . That is what happens when denying science is part of your political DNA.

Again, they have NO CHOICE.
If they DON'T reach a compromise the tax hikes are coming AUTOMATICALLY.

Ken
Exactly!

I felt bad for him actually. Imagine feeling like the entire country has literally rejected you. And that many thousands of people were depending on you and you didn't come through. Now imagine being completely blindsided with that all at once. Not to mention his closest family and friends were right there crying.

I didn't want him as president, but as a human being I feel for the guy.

Shellshocked? I was shellshocked that he got so many votes. They thought there polling was the correct way. They didn't know that many independents were republicans. Every one knew that.

I kinda wish republicans would call out democrats. They should introduce a bill that says if you make over $250k your taxes will be 95%.

I mean if raising taxes is good for the economy that should make it preform outstandingly.

They can call it "moving forward during the cliff fall."

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He knew going in that only one wins. He knew that people didn't like him and he couldn't relate to the average person even when he tried. He flip flopped all the time. He didn't really have a plan but his was better.

How do you know he is "ashamed" of this country's power and influence?

Do you have a link to prove that he has said that, because unless you have heard those words out of his mouth yourself, you have NO way to know what he is or isn't ashamed of.

So, please provide a link because otherwise I might think you're making things up. And you wouldn't want us to think that conservatives lie, would you?
