I have been saying for months that the GOP will keep getting more angry and erratic for a few more years, as the party of angry white males, who refuse to learn anything new or to compromise. Ranting like Archie Bunker in the living room. Looks like it has already happened. I thought the last couple years of birtherism, black helicopters, antiglobal warming, antiscience, drill baby drill, legitimate rape, makers and takers, muslim, kenyan socialist rants were over the top, but perhaps they will prove to be the SuperNova of the GOP.

The Millennials and minorities are coming on strong. They are more educated and creative than you, and unless you put up a centrist candidate, you all are going to fade into irrelevance. Of course, we will still take care of you, just not let you lead.

I'm sure they will think they all pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, and everyone else is a deadbeat, while they ride their Medicare scooters to the Old Country Buffet.

Centrist candidate is right! I don't think it's any coincidence that Romney surged in the polls after his first debate in which he was a lot more moderate than everyone expected. It even through Obama off at the time.

Watching Rove and company twisting in the wind has been immensely satisfying.

I was thinking today that the old white guy vote peaked in 2004, when the boomers were mid to late 40s and the kids were just at the cusp of voting age. Women have been rising for some time, but roll forward eight years and the kids are voting, and the minority vote is growing exponentially. You can't just tell them all to "shut up and go to your room" or "get back in the kitchen woman!" or "get back out in the garden or I'll call La Migra!" They women, young adults, and minorities are now the dominant face of the American body politic.

This screetching of the last few years is like the howls of the wicked witch as she melts in the Wizard of Oz.

I wish I could rep but I have to spread it around apparently. But that literally made me laugh out loud!
