GOP tried to pit business owners against workers. Looks like it backfired on them. Back to the drawing board.

Yeah, it was lame at best (so make mocking the other guy your mission statement?!!), and built on a petty, out of context partial quote (as in misrepresentation)... some of the GOP's finest work!

Passing Universal Healthcare, taking out the perpetrator of 9/11, and bringing the country back from the brink of another Great Depression (among other things)... yup, nuthin' to be proud of there!

When you've got nothing else, you always start up about someone's grammar.

Right. That's why he got reelected. Because he accomplished nothing.

We have to remember these Republicans live in a world of 1. arrogance, and 2. if you SOUND STRONG in what you say, it doesn't matter what you say, you look like a real leader. They took how Americans behave with regards to debates (posturing is important, content not so much so) and extrapolated it to their entire campaign. That's also why Romney's first response to the 47% remark was to double down on it. It was only after the RESULTS in terms of voter response turned out to be unfavorable that he backtracked. So likewise with the China BS, it wasn't until voters responded that he second guessed his "posture first" approach, and that was on election night.

Without voters responding to tell these morons that their "I'm a strong leader with strong words" posturing while they dispense lies and misinformation tactic is bunk and will backfire on them, they continue to drink the kool aid and arrogantly believe it is as they say it is. Arrogant men more interested in power thanr truth, power than reality, will often do things that make no sense and double down on them when somebody with some vision and truth tries to impart that on them.

They would rather be strong and wrong than be correct and honest and appear weak.

You expect anything different from a party filled with myopic small minded war hawks and religious zealots ?

Republicans need to evolve and make the great leap forward from bumper sticker politics to at least something a little more sophisticated, like internet meme politics for instance.
