Funny. Yet a sad commentary on the state of affairs in this country.

Quote:
They are content to get their information from television programs that offer no facts—just propaganda and ratings-boosting rants. They don’t read newspapers. They reject facts that conflict with their prejudices. They’ll believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim. They’ll believe that Saddam Hussein was behind 9-11. They’ll believe that the earth was created 6000 years ago. They’ll believe the moon landings were faked in a Hollywood studio.

Certainly one cohort of voters that is keeping the leaky Clinton dirigible airborne is women, particularly older women, for whom her candidacy is a feminist milestone.

That is understandable. But the other cohort, which Clinton has referred to as “working, hard working, white Americans,” and as “whites…who had not completed college,” is hardly something she or any candidate should be bragging about.

And yet that is what she is doing: bragging that she’s got a lock on the stupid, racist white vote.
Hillary Clinton, John McCain and the "Stupid" Vote

Stupid candidates attract stupid voters. Look at Bush as an example of that!

What I dont like is the characterization of educated people as out of touch or elitist-most people who are educated today can trace their roots to a much more humble and modest beginning. Its as if making something of yourself is viewed as bad. What a crock.

Yet,
Hillary would act as if she hasnt been living a life of priviledge for most of her years-certainly far longer than Barack Obama.

So who is more to blame here - the candidates who look to manipulate the fools, or the fools for being manipulated? Any poor or middle class voter who thought Bush was looking out for them was not paying attention . . .

And these are the very voters Obama would need to win the general. Ohhhh poetic justice.

Have you guys ever been beyond the two left coasts?

You really show your ignorance when you categorize the majority of the electorate as racist, redneck dummies.

These are the hard-working Americans that keep this country moving along.

How hateful and insulting you Obamatons are.

Let tonight be a lesson for the elitist snobs of the far left-kooks.

I didn't read the article and Im not going to because quite frankly, this whole process is sickening, BUT, why does it mention older women voting for a feminist milestone, but not why an absurdly high amount (in comparison to say white females voting for Clinton) of blacks are voting for Obama? Maybe it does mention it but you picked that part out to quote.

Also, why does the quote make it seem like this " “working, hard working, white Americans,” and as “whites…who had not completed college,” " is a bad thing?

Again please fill me in if Im missing something but that quote you put up there really makes me not want to read that article.

Yet you think Obama or Clinton will? Who is the fool now?

You mean you haven't picked up on the "theme" yet?

If you are white and don't vote for Obama, you are a racist. Clear now?

I don't know, this stuff about stupid folks supporting other candidates and smart folks supporting Obama seems a bit self serving.

We had two threads in the past few days inviting specific insights from Obama supporters concerning his proposals, and with only a couple of appreciated exceptions the Obama supporters declined to participate in those threads:

The poor whites who are stupid may be excused for their mental deficiences. It may just be that they lacked the opportunities to attend college due to poverty. But there's no excuse for Hillary Clinton - who has an elite upbringing - for willfully manipulating the stupid vote to advance her poltitical ambition. The end result of this is that even though Obama and Clinton are pretty similar on the issues, these mentally-challenged voters will end up voting for McCain in the general election just because of the way Hillary Clinton ran her race-baiting campaign. On the other hand, the migration of such voters to the GOP will raise the average IQ of the Democratic party while depressing the average IQ of the Republican party.
