Who's on your short list? I personally long for the day Rand runs (successfully) and finishes what his father the great patriot Dr. Paul fell short in doing.

God forbid another Bush runs (Jeb). While I liked Chris Christie I find to generally be a RINO. Paul Ryan might be a viable candidate. Not sold on Rubio at this time.

You?

Someone who will keep his/her nose out of other countries business. Particularly by pulling the US out of the demonic UN, and ending the FED.

I hope they get whomever they believe is their "true" conservative, and I hope he gets crushed.

Exactly right, which is why Rand Paul, IMO, would be the best candidate.

I would like to see a race with Christie,Rand Paul,Huntsman, and some one appealing to social conservatives. I think it will be Santorum and he will be stomping around Iowa in 2 years. I think the debates would be interesting if Christie is really talking straight he could be front runner early on.

I haven't seen anyone I'm interested in. Rubio is too young, Santorum is a clown, Ron Paul is too marginal and Chris Christie became toxic to many in the GOP with his avid embrace of Obama in the Sandy aftermath. I still like Ryan but his image needs to be re-habbed and the GOP isn't as good at that as the Dems with the MSM doing the work for them.

Good point on Huntsman. While he's a bit of a RINO I most certainly would have considered voting for him.

Someone like John Hunstman, but with a dash of Ron Paul sprinkled in and more open to social conservatives.

Someone who values our soveirgn borders and won't give amnesty to illegal immigrants but honor our immigration laws instead which means deporting them either voluntarily or involuntarily. Someone who will remove the magnets for them to continue to come here such as jobs, benefits and birthright citizenship.

Yes.

Too bad Huckabee turned out to be a traitor in '08 otherwise he would have received my vote and I think would have been a viable and good president.
