I have to take exception to this. There is nothing wrong with stating and believing that your country is the greatest place on Earth as long as you at least have a reasonable argument for that. 1. Just because the conservative right opposes a "traditional" marriage between gays does not mean that they are anti-gay or hate gays.
2. Stop using the extreme right and their stupid statements that they make to stereotype the entire right.
3. Stop insisting that the right change their stance on abortion. They have every right to be pro-life and advocate ceasing the killing of the unborn.
4. No one is trying to get rid of SS and Medicare. Any sane person knows those programs will have to be reformed in order to keep them solvent.
5. Cutting "wasteful" spending is one of the tools to keep our country financially stable while still taxing everyone fairly. Not all on the right advocate for useless, expensive wars either.
