McConnell is polling the race already.

so what is that supposed to mean or should I change my mind cause he is doing the same thing. I think the whole thing is stupid. That is my point, no one can even begin to predict what is going to happen in 2014. Heck we don't know what is going to happen with the mess in DC right now.

Of course anything can happen in that amount of time in politics. The point is that McConnell is in serious trouble at this point. That's all the poll suggests.

Democrats once again prove that they are gifted in the art of name calling. Even I have to admit that 'turtle' is a funny appellation for McConnell. I bet that even Mitch would admit it.

No, McConnell would most likely get the FBI involved and form a tax-wasting committee to get to the bottom of the turtle name.

McConnell's Lousiville house is only about a mile from mine, the strange thing is, when he started out, he was a very moderate, freethinking guy. He signed gun laws and was active in environmental stuff.
Yeah, really !!!!!

Shows what a few terms in DC will do . . . From that, to nothing more than an obstructionist shill for the USA Taliban, big coal and china. Money ruins everything.

Sad.

Why is it OK to call Mitch "Turtle Boy" but it's just simply horrible to refer to Moochelle's big bumper?

Sounds like some hatin' goin' on.

I thought I heard Mitch wasn't running, but maybe I dreamed that.

Admit it. McConnell looks like a turtle! He didn't when he was younger, but age has been unkind to him. That he is unpopular in parts of Kentucky that are still solid blue is more important than his physical appearance, but it's very obvious that, these days, looks count for more than they once did.

I will just say this and leave it at that: in trouble, yes, the polls show this, but serious trouble, that the polls do not show. As I have said over and over, it is very possible he will get beat, but it is way to early to start playing the prediction game, like many would love to do.

and yes, he does resemble a turtle I have to admit, but I choose to vote based on things other than looks or I would like to think I do.

So you think he changed because he won a couple of elections? Don't you think many of us change our minds about policy all the time, whether from left to right or visa versa. I know I certainly have. I keep learning new things, re-think my old views and come up with new opinions on issues. Are you saying you do not mature and from time to time see the other side of things? Your comments seem to indicate you think only those elected to office change.
