A California pastor and political activist is calling for a boycott of The 700 Club and pioneering televangelist Pat Robertson. The pastor called for the boycott shortly after Robertson personally endorsed former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for president.

Doesn't it seem that as the years go by, evangelicals are moving more and more to the right and farther from the mainstream? Back in the 80s they actually made sense, now they are simply going nuts!

We are electing the President of the United States, not a church pastor. Religious belief should NOT be the sole litmus test determining who to vote for.

By all means, boycott that looney-toon wackjob. Robertson is in it for the money. He's a media hog like Al Sharpton.

Money donated to religion belongs in everyone's local church, where REAL clergymen help real people with real life issues.

Talking head tel-evangelists (Robertson, Dobson, et al) should lose tax exempt status as they're political action committees.

I kind of suspected this was coming when that whole thing with Guiliana happened. Nothing like a christian cat fight for entertainment.

As a matter of fact, I believe there is a clause in the Constitution rejecting this.

Yeah, endorsing Guiliani is probably the first sensible thing I've seen that guy do. I don't remember Robertson having much pull back in the 80s and the Christian Right supported Bush anyways.
