Me too, Cantor's loss is great for Democrat, NO teabagger will ever be elected as president so the more teabaggers that win primaries the better!

I'm sure Cantor is not as petrified as the GOP is right now. I'm sure he'll get a job as a lobbyist after he finishes his term. The GOP still has to worry about getting the Whitehouse again. lol

They said the Tea Party is dead....

Looks like the GOP is getting more and more Conservative, as is America.

A perfect illustration of why this is doesn't bode well for the Republican party.

No - only the conservative districts are becoming more conservative. Remember, there were actually over 1,000,000 more Democratic voters than Republican for the House. Only because of extreme gerrymandering do we have rule by the MINORITY in the House.

The big problem with this Tea Party stuff is that it forces the party to go hard right. Republicans misread the populace and start overreaching with their mandate.

Which is nice in off year elections where few people vote, but it'll mean disaster for them in presidential elections. They're toast in 2016.

basically what I meant by protest vote is both parties under Bush and then under Obama have not compromised. One only has to look at support for ACA now versus when passed with no in put allowed. Its the same if not worse as far as support goes. for it. Down your throat politics never works because you can only govern effective when the governed accept your policies. Reagan and Tip ONeal compromised as did Clinton and Gingrich to get stuff done and accepted as law. No compromise was bad under Bush with democrats and has gotten worse under Obama on both sides of the isle. Of course those most effected are those dependent on government. If Obama losing the house first mid term was not a signal of what voters want then I doubt anyone is listening to our further demise. It only confirms what polls have shown for some time in lower and lower numbers for both side as to governing.

I have been watching MSNBC all night. They are giddy over this.

I just switched to Hannity on FoxNews. He is slamming Cantor and palling up to Dave Brat. FoxNews loved Cantor until 3 hours ago. This is the funkiest night of my life. Absolutely hilarious.
