To be honest most in Florida really do not like both of them. Crist was a Republican then not. Scotts past business affairs still haunt him to day.
I will vote for Scott because he did turn the State of Florida and thus created my job opportunity here. He did turn the state around after the Housing Bubble and has created a more diverse work force.

Crist is a little too slick for my taste.

Scott was horrendous on that CNN debate on Tuesday. I mean, he looked so nervous and so uncomfortable up there.

In the end I think Crist will win. The race has been a dead heat and Crist sure as hell hasn't helped himself much, but hasn't done as much damage to himself as Scott has over the past week or so.

I'm sure Crist hasn't moved so far left that he isn't willing to work across the isle too. He might be our best moderate choice.

It's an interesting race. Aren't both one-termers? Florida seems to have a way of being comfortable switching back to a former winner after voting him out earlier. In most states, you don't see that very much.

I wonder why this is...

Charlie didn't run for a second term as Governor. He decided to run for the Senate seat instead (and lost).

That is true, but didn't he decide to run foe Senate because he knew he would get beat if he ran for Governor. He would not have been able to get the nomination.

Charlie was actually a pretty popular governor and most likely would have won another term in 2010. But he had run for the Senate in 1998 and lost, still wanted it, and thought he had the Senate seat locked up in 2010 (Mel Martinez had retired so the seat was open). He rolled the dice on that and lost.

But ,he failed as Gov. to have a backup plan when the bubble happen. Plus his credibility dropped when changed parties 3 times?

I voted for Rick Scott on Sat. We will just have to see the results!

Looks like we cancelled out each others vote. I am no raging fan of Charlie Crist, but I've disagreed with Rick Scott's policies from day one.
