Republican's fate in 2016 is sealed anyway, so they may as well throw as big of a tantrum as they can in the next two years.
They aren't going to garner any favor by trying to impeach a guy that most Americans, despite their political ideology, find likeable.
But like I said, it doesn't matter anyway. Our next president will most likely be decided on the basis of what anatomical appendage, or lack there of, is between their legs.
Rejecting god is a liberal trait. It requires a degree of rational, secular thought that conflicts with conservative positions on issues such as science and evolution.
Lack of tolerance of others is a Progressive trait.
That would be a classical liberal. (i.e. today's libertarians)
Who says?
There are many libertarian Gays in this town I live in and they do vote rather conservative.
They know we don't agree, but we are not going to make a big deal about it, because every individual is different.

These are two issues that Republicans need to cede ground on if they want to remain a viable party in our political system.:
Homosexsuality, and religion.
Once Republicans divorce themselves from the latter, the former should come naturaly.
The issue of gay marriage is all but decided. The simple fact is, no one cares who others want to spend their lives with. In fifty, nay, twenty years from now, gay marriage will be a complete non issue, both legally and socialy. Young people are increasingly distancing themselves from the facets of religion, and they also don't see gay marriage as anything to be concerned about. The elder population that Republicans pander to with issues like these are dying off, and so too, will the Republican party if it doesn't change.

lol. That flies in the face of every civil rights struggle in this country since its inception. Conservatives have always been the ones who demean and withhold rights from others.

Where has any Republican proposed or advocated regulation of "who others want to spend their lives with?"
