That's funny. Romney or his running mate couldn't even win there Home states in a Real election. To imagine Cruz winning just the Parties Nomination is way beyond belief. Even Republicans don't want that far a right extremist anywhere even close to the Presidency.

The only support he will get is from the small number of Right Wing nut Extremists who walk on the edges of being called potential domestic Terrorists. Even his twin Jim Jones had supporters. Like him, Cruz is a Dangerous Quack.

Which social issues?

The right to be free, with individual liberties?

Where does the US Constitution, give the federal government, the authority to even deal with social issues, unless it is a civil war?

The only jobs the federal government has are, Keeping us safe from a foreign invasion.(they are actually helping that happen in a non-violent way)
To keep us, competitive in the world economy(for some reason they feel the need to control our economy as a collective of nations(States).)
To keep the states from fighting with each other over commerce.(Today the government tries to keep the states from selective interstate commerce(Keystone, health insurance, firearm sales).)

It might be close.

The Godfather was pretty out there.

Ted & Rand would easily win their home states. By big numbers.

You don't want the IRS abolished?
You are one of the 5%.

Do you work for the federal government, by chance?

The Constitution scares many people, that were raised to be a victim by mommy.

Freedom is a very scary thing. Where you and you alone are responsible for your survival.

Perhaps giving up his Canadian citizenship was a hasty decision. He may need a place to hide out after this fiasco is over.

The is no such thing as separation of church and state.
You need to look at his recent speech at Liberty University or his interview with CBN. The interview is chock full of religious rhetoric and him bemoaning how we have "ceded the public arena to people who aren’t believers”.

He's right up there with Pat Robertson and his 2012 claim that God doesn't support President Barack Obama's agenda.

This is the very same thing that affects Mike Huckabee and also why he will never be President. If you are perceived as one who is fundamentalist, I don't think you have any chance of being President, and in my opinion, thankfully so.
Great! Liberals hate him, so he must be on to something.
