I like that Leno can debate civilly and thoughtfully with Cruz. He asked good questions and Cruz gave thoughtful answers. Thanks for posting the video.

Did you notice the 3 edits where the question was asked, Leno got applause and they edited out Ted's response.
That is because the Tea Party is obstructionist and don't even try to get compromise. This is one of the reasons I cannot vote for Cruz. presidents are supposed to be compromisers in some aspects. I don't think it is in Ted's fiber of a being to compromise.
That didn't happen in the current incarnation in the WH.
I expect Ted to be campaigning for President, not only in the 2016 election, but the 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036, 2040, 2044 and 2048 elections as well.
So if you're sick of seeing his face already........................................... .................................

We have term limits on the office of President, you know.....
True but when one party is led by individuals that are obstructionist and don't believe in compromise, the two party system don't work either. BOTH parties need to compromise in someway to be a real democracy.
Also that is forgetting that corporate interests from lobbyists don't play a role in creating the yes men...
I think there are some issues where a compromise is not possible. I don't agree that a "real" democracy demands total compromise, which is really capitulation. I believe there are some issues that can't be compromised, and I am glad there are people who refuse to do it.
That is happening with activist judges overriding the ballot box. That surely is not democracy.
