Hillary will have a hard time winning (I won't say that she can't win because after all both Bush and Obama got reelected) because she is just a bad politician who is unlikable and shady. The more people hear her speak the less they like her. Only low information voters (unfortunately a lot of the voting population) and true believers like her.

Your average Hillary Clinton supporter:

She will probably get elected. Another chapter in the Dumbing of America. People just cant see this family is nothing but crooks and liars. You really want Bill roaming the WH with nothing to do.

2) She is white, so she won't have the racial backlash that cursed President Obama.
3) She is supremely educated, and has more political experience than any of the other potential GOP hopefuls.
4) She has a stellar record and background.
5) She was opposed to Bush's policies, unlike her GOP counterparts.
6) She survived an intense campaign for the presidency against the inevitable winner Obama, and although she didn't win, she earned his respect, and the respect of those who mattered in this nation.
7) She was an exceptional Secretary of State.
8) Her policies are superior to those of the GOP. She would continue the upward trend that President Obama put us on after those 8 horrific Bush years.
9) She has the support of women, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, foreigners, the LGBT community, the unemployed, the underemployed, the blue-collar, the working class, the youth, the elderly, those who are not racist or sexist, and those who favor policies which help all, not just the rich.
10) She will have at her side a man who was highly successful in his two terms as President, Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is a beloved ex-President, who can obliterate the GOP with one speech, and he too knows how to run the country for the benefit of all, not just the rich and privileged.
11) She will see the Senate flip back over to the Dems in 2016.
12) During her two terms, the Supreme Court will flip back to being left-leaning.
13) She is tough, smart, has good sense, and great instincts.
14) Her policies are the same policies which WORK to keep this country prospering as we are doing now.
15) She will have the significant advantage of not succeeding the disastrous presidency of a Republican.
16) She does not represent the interests of big corporations.
17) She does not represent the interests of racists and bigots.

During her campaign, she will EMBRACE President Obama and his fine policies because they have WORKED in spite of the GOP obstruction. I hope she slams the GOP at every turn, pointing out their many inadequacies and atrocious record.

Another outstanding post, Lex

Couldn't possibly agree more with the many great points you make here

None of these flawed GOP rookies even have a puncher's chance against this supremely qualified woman.

Looking forward to another eight years of DEM control in the White House...

We find ourselves in agreement.

I bet if a petition went around that said, "no more Bushes and no more Clintons!" it would pass with massive bipartisan support. We have 300 million people in this country. No need to retread old administrations.

Obama was simply a Democratic Party strategy to win the '08 race, using the "Blame Bush" mantra over and over again. It worked, he was able to convince the voters he had tons of hope and change in his election platform; if he had not been able to badmouth the outgoing lame duck he may not have won the first time much less twice. How will Hillary be able to gain votes off the inconsistencies and missteps of her predecessor, and will she try to change the ACA monster to fit her ideals in regard to health care? She could not come up with a workable program when Bill was president, so she may be stuck with that one.

Unemployment under 4% and we had one of the best tax years on record. Our GNP was in a pro growth mode verses 1.50 for Obama. Heck Even Bill Clinton had good states compared to Obama.

Yes Dems Lied to the President and the American People on the Collapse of the Housing Market. Do I need to remind on Dodd ,Maxine Waters and our favorite Dem William Raines who testified that the Housing Market was in tact?

Up to the Bubble we enjoyed several nice years of a steady economy.

Sadly I agree. I know too many women who fully intend to vote for her just because they feel it's time for a woman president. They don't care about her record. They don't care about Bill. They don't care about the emails. Hillary could bash a puppy to death with her bare hands and it wouldn't matter. They want a woman as president, period.

The MSM is already responding by framing the GOP candidates as anti-women. The next two years are going to be so tedious.

I agree.

Not a Republican alive can beat Hillary Clinton or any Democrat for that matter. Hillary's battle will be getting to that Democratic nomination. Going into 2008, Hillary was seen as inevitable and definitely the most qualified, but a junior senator from Illinois came in and took the world by storm.

If she gets the nomination, she is guaranteed to be the next President.

IF Hillary makes it to the semifinal round in the Dem primaries: IMHO the MSM WILL start taking some serious potshots at her to bring her down. That woman has too much baggage.
