Rest assured they will still be going. One of the reasons it has been going for so long is the efforts to get to the bottom of it have been delayed/thwarted along the way. Now we find out part of the reason they never received the subpoenaed documents from the SD is because Hillary unilaterally decided to erase them from the server. Not to mention the SD just kept delaying by saying they didn't have them. Well that was true, but they never explained why until much later.
