The Hill says these 103 Dems endorse Hillary Clinton. Which ones endorsed Obama over her in 2008? Do you think if the news media asked the ones that didn't endorse her in 2008 what she's done since then that makes them endorse her now, that they would have an answer?

Kurt Schrader was a member of the Oregon State Government at the time, so I am not sure there is much information on who he endorsed for the Democrat Primary in 2008.

That argument would only work if Barack Obama was running against her now and they switched their vote.

um, not really. The discussion the OP asked is how many endorsed Obama over Clinton 6 years ago and why they would endorse her now if they didnt then.

Obama doesnt need to be running now to ask why they would endorse someone else.

He needs to but running for it to matter.

In 2004, George Bush ran unopposed in the GOP. Did you not understand why Republicans who supported other people in 2000 then supported him in 2004 ??????

Wow, you honestly need someone to answer that question for you? Okaaaay, how about this--Obama isn't running in 2016, so they can't endorse him for president going forward. So given that this is an entirely new election cycle, and they have to endorse someone for the nomination, Hillary is their choice this time around in this new field of candidates. Seems like something that anyone with even the most basic understanding of election cycles would understand, but hey, I'm happy to explain it to you.

Geesh.

Well, it presumes she's done something special since 2008 because Obama just had a speech. Isn't that why you all thought he was better than her? That's what she said. It can't be you just voted for him for the color of his skin.

"I think you'll be able to imagine many things Senator McCain will be able to say," she said. "He's never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience. I will put forth my lifetime of experience. Senator Obama will put forth a speech he made in 2002." - Hillary Clinton

But, the politicians endorsing her now apparently didn't want her to answer the phone when it rang at three in the morning. They preferred the guy with zero accomplishment/zero experience who liked to vote "present."

You all passed her over in favor of the 2008 do-nothing guy so I have to assume, with all of these Dem politicians jumping aboard the 2016 Hillary train that turned their nose up to her before, she's accomplished something really spectacular since 2008. What is it?
