I wouldn't be surprised if Democrats used the Duggar scandal against many Republicans in this election cycle. Didn't they use Todd Akin and his comments on abortion against him and other Republicans back in 2012?

you are probably right, but I don't think many will pay much attention. It is still a while before the elections, The Dugger situation is really old, not something that just happened yesterday and we have so many more trying issues to deal with today.

Oh boy. Maybe I am just a cynic but 2016 is so far turning out to be BORING as far as the choices we are being given.
What's this "we" stuff? You aren't even a Republican according to one of your posts in another thread. Why do you care who wins our primary or whether it's boring?

Huckabee is another candidate pretending the IRS will go away under his presidency. Anyone who says that isn't telling the truth. Who does he think will check on the reporting and paying of a Fair Tax? Just because you aren't the filer of forms doesn't mean nobody has to report what they collect from you and pay it. Businesses will have to do it. The IRS will have to do all the same jobs they do now: audits, collection, processing, writing forms and instructions, answering questions, etc. Plus, the Fair Tax replaces income taxes. What about all of the other taxes the IRS oversees? I'm really very surprised a competent news person hasn't called out these "abolish the IRS" candidates on this.

It is very interesting to see the religious right and Christian Taliban circle the wagons to protect their own. Molesting your own sisters multiple times is not a "mistake". I find it sickening that Huckabee and others are defending a sexual predator just because he is part of their club. Huckabee and his supporters are treating this sick child rapist less harshly than a kid caught with a joint or an innocent child that was brought into the US by his undocumented parents.
