Great, that's just great.

Talk about going senile? Shameful for someone who's trying to run for Head of State.

and Mitt Romney said the Pats won the World Series. Does that make him a moron, too? Senile?

Get a grip, people, speaking errors are everywhere.

My first church service ever, instead of saying "the ushers will wait on you for your morning offering," I said "the waiters..." big fat hairy deal..

Actually this statement alone does not make McCain senile. He'd already sealed his fate with me when he declared he'd support us going to war with Iraq/the middle east for another 100 years. This just adds insult to injury, however, and makes me seriously question the judgment of those voting for him.

Saying the Pats won the world series is a misspeak, but saying that poot poot is the president of Germany? What's wrong with that guy? Angela Merkel won't be getting any shoulder massages from him!

I think Horst Kohler and Angela Merkel might have something to say about that ! Though I suspect Putin might not say no to Germany handed to him on a plate... He is a bit... greedy and not terribly democratic either.

A bit of a big gaffe though, if a gaffe at all. If a genuine "belief" then it might explain foreign policy a tad better !

McCain has made alot of mistakes like this , giving his victory speech in Michigan he started to thank Mexico instead of Michigan for the win. I thought, this guy is too old.

I heard that too! He almost said Mexico. I thought, wow that explains his illegal immigrant stance.

He was referring to having a military presence in the ME not going to war for a hundred years. Think Germany, S. Korea, etc.

Here's an interesting tidbit for you... My sister served in the Army in Berlin in the late 80s and early 90s when the wall came down. She received a medal for her service during World War II, even though she was born in 1964.
