He seems to be gaining on Hillary and most of the liberals prefer him over her. Do you think there's a good chance he will get the nomination?

For the record, I would hate to have either of them as president. An unlikable flip flopper and an old socialist. Yikes.

No. None. Zero. Zilch. If Clinton stays in, Clinton wins. If for some reason she leaves, someone other than Sanders will be the nominee.

He isn't a flip-flopper. He is by far the most consistent candidate running for president. He was advocating for gay rights decades ago... He was arrested for protested desegregation in 1962 and marched with MLK in 1963. He voted against the disastrous Iraq War- something Hillary Clinton supported. Of course you all can name call him as a 'socialist'- he does identify as a Democratic socialist. But why is this such a bad thing? The US military is the largest socialist program in the entire world. Highways, roads, libraries, police, bridges, the sewer system, etc. are all socialist ideas... The list goes on and on...
He's also been called a communist by quite a few people on this forum. He isn't advocating a communist sort of wealth redistribution but instead is really exposing the corruption of a government that panders to the wealthy. They don't deserve loopholes and special treatment but they instead should pay their fair share in taxes. The US has the widest income gap in recent memory. Almost all of wealth generated is going to the top 1%.
The reality is that Hillary Clinton is dropping. Bernie is leading in both IA and NH. Minorities have so far backed Clinton, but once they learn more about Bernie he'll easily be the front-runner and win the nomination. He is a genuine progressive candidate instead of a moderate but his message will resonate with a lot of people and he will(if he wins the nomination) have more appeal than many people think.

I'll flat say it: this election I CAN'T call or even who's gonna win the primaries. It's like the other shoe's gonna drop 1st and, THAT will be a game changer. Just a hunch here.

People are simply misinformed. He is a democratic socialist, which has nothing to do with old Communist Soviet Union.

He belives in capitalism but believes government should invest in the quality of life of the people, not just endless wars and corporate welfare. And he wants money out of politics so that the American people once again can trust their elected representatives to act on behalf of the voters that elected them.

He is as consistent as Ron Paul was. It's an admiral trait in politics.

Bernie would unite Congress........against him. No different than Ron Paul.

Having a group of people with a 15% approval rating against you won't be a bad thing.

I dont think that's fair. If Bernie Sanders gets the nomination, it is because of a massive grass roots movement. True democracy. Not wealthy donors. And Congress cant ignore such popular demands if they want to keep their jobs. Bernie Sanders is a different beast than Ron Paul:
