Obama's deportation record: inside the numbers - CNNPolitics.com

Besides, what ever number he deported (and turning back people at the border doesn't count), he went and negated all that when he dictated amnesty for DREAMers.

As for your made-up word "Hispaniphobia", you come off as being awfully bigoted. You assume that all illegals are Hispanics. They are not. In the past ICE deported illegals back to 189 countries. 189 countries covers every race, religion and ethnicity.

I have never heard anyone say something along the lines of: "Just deport the Hispanic illegals and let the others stay". Have you? If so, provide a link.

All illegals have one thing in common---they have no business being here and need to leave. Period.
Oh puhleez spare me the parsing. We pretty much know the dog whistle politics of rhetoric.

Just another tired tactic of projection and the childish retort of firing back the same thing when you're called out on it.

"The statistics are actually a little deceptive," Obama said last month during a discussion with Hispanic journalists. There has been "a much greater emphasis on criminals than non-criminals." And "with stronger border enforcement, we've been apprehending folks at the borders and sending them back. That is counted as a deportation even though they may have only been held for a day or 48 hours."

From your link. Just despicable there, Obama.

Point is, Obama isn't the "coddler of illegal immigrants" that the nativists like to believe (to the point that several Latino groups have chastized him for his immigration policies).
So, it doesn't matter to you that Obama admitted to cooking the books?

Give it up! None of those links point out that Obama admitted to fudging the numbers.

He most certainly is "a coddler of illegal immigrants". After all, he dictated amnesty and work permits for DREAMers. He got taken to court for trying to dictate amnesty to all illegals who had anchor babies. He did away with 287(g) and refuses to let ICE and the Border Patrol do their jobs. He told local jurisdictions that when they arrest an illegal for a felony, that they need to reduce it to a misdemeanor so that the illegal will be eligible for amnesty.

Sorry, if Obama is the great deporter, then why did he admit to cooking the books on those figures?

Illegal alien fans HATE the truth, it hurts them too much so their kind scream "racism" or some such nonsense to which I laugh at.

The point is that you need to focus your resources in a rational way. Building a wall ain't gonna work. If folks are really determined to get there, they'll find a way.

Unfortunately for you who think any action short of mass deportation, racial profiling, garnished with some angry rhetoric is capitulation, rational thought and sane policies don't exist.

Look, you're getting played by Trump - because his simplistic nostrums aren't practical - he's just playing to your fear and hysteria. You love the red meat but all you'll get is a puff of smoke.

The truth is that you're getting played if you think draconian policies that you advocate are gonna work. It's bad policy and bad politics.

I'm focused in a rational way.

Yes, I'm angry about illegal immigration. Any rational thinking person should be, too, instead of belittling others who are angry about this issue. If we lose that fire in our bellies, we lose our country.

I've never advocated for "mass deportation". Besides, it doesn't need to be done. Make E-verify the law of the land and run everybody in the work force through it to weed out those 8 million no-match SSNs. Close that loophole in the law that says it's okay if someone uses your SSN as long as they don't use your name with it. Right now several people could be using your SSN and the SSA won't tell you. Instead, you find out when the IRS comes after you for not filing a tax return on a job you never worked.

Put an end to the whole anchor baby/birth tourism fiasco. If illegals can't find work or access welfare benefits (and they do access those benefits once they drop an anchor baby), they will leave on their own accord. Would you stay someplace if you couldn't find work or collect unemployment?

What Trump has succeeded in doing is shining a light in dark corners and addressing the elephant in the room. Whether or not he gets the republican nomination, he has changed the whole tenor of the campaing, forcing candidates on both sides of the aisle to address these issues. No more namby-pamby weasel words anymore.

"Fear"? Yes, I fear for the future when it comes to my kids and grandkids. Maybe if you weren't so young, you would understand what I mean.

"Hysteria"? Really? Being concerned about illegal immigration and wide open borders amounts to "hysteria"? What would you rather do? Bury your head in the sand and pretend that these aren't problems?

Then don't lock your house or your car. If people really want to break in they'll find a way.

Look at the sgns they are carrying:

"Who is the real Jeb?" "Is he one of us or one of them?"

These kids have an important message for their fellow Hispanics: Don't be fooled into supporting this man. He may be with us on policy issues but, in the end, he's a gringo Republican. And that is what matters.

Dreamers are almost as obnoxious as those passionate Trump followers. Someone should lock Dreamers and Trump followers up in the same room and throw away the key.
