Just to be clear..Of course out Political leader put ALL HIS MARBLES into one basket..ala trying to promote Keystone...Guess what?? Fail!! He's running last in our polls here in Canada ..Elections coming October 19th..LOL..So...over a year ago alternative pipelines across Canada have been suggested and attempts to alter exit points ( East and West)..tho it appears..OIL is not the darling anymore.. Up hear high efficiency/alternative resources have been abundant for past half dozen years..SO less reliability of OIL..Boo Hooo's to Shell, BP, Exxon, Suncor , Cenovus etc are suffering big time!! I say too bad so sad

SO..in the end..Hillary is RIGHT..Why back and support a losing Oil Industry that is already reached a GLUT in Reserves!! I won't even go into the environmental damages and risks to natural lands IF yet further Oil spills occur with old, failing infrastructure fails ..and Company's defund upkeep to maintain profits..cause so so much grief to environment and citizens!!

I agree the NDP has all but committed to shutting down Tar Sands production in Alberta and with it the need for Keystone or any other pipeline to get that heavy oil anywhere! So for us Americans the whole Keystone issue might become mute. I hope Canada leads the way in taking Americans to a green future.

With abundant hydropower, excellent tidal power along the East and West coasts and some of the best steady winds in the high prairies and Martimes , Canada could set the goal recently achieved by Denmark of getting all of its energy needs from renewable clean power generations and convert its car and truck fleets to electric power or natural gas. Way to go, eh.

Let be honest here.

Keystone doesnt create any of the jobs or energy independence that republicans claimed.

and Democrats allowed it to become a political issue, that they will likely lose because building it also doesnt cause as much damage as we thought it could.

Republicans are going to get to pat themselves on the back without actually accomplishing anything and to many on the right and left it looks like Hillary Clinton flip flopped when in reality this should be a none issue.

Clinton says whatever is trending on social media. It's a mystery what she really believes.

Sort of like Trump--he used to be a liberal Democrat, but decided to become an uber-conservative Republican!
There is a rumor that Trump met with Bill and Hillary jsut before he announced his run. They've been close friends for years. I've thought for a while that he may be working to divide the GOP to smooth the path for her.

So you are against unions, American jobs, and energy independence. Got it.
