Not one to let tragedy pass without taking advantage of it, The King went on a tirade about gun control.

Exclaims "What's Wrong With Us". i.e It's the publics fault these criminals go and shoot people. Of course The King doesn't include herself in this condemnation. Says she will push for new laws to keep guns out of the publics hand.

Some in audience were not buying it. The were yawning and falling asleep.

Here's the thing about gun control: It's very unpopular with the American people. Even when popularity of gun control rises, like after Sandy Hook, it doesn't have much sticking power.

Hillary is simply trying to benefit from a tragedy, but I can easily see this blowing up in her face around the general election.

Don;t be so sure about that.
91% of Americans and 92% of gun owners want universal background checks for gun purchases.

The NRA doesn't speak for everyone.

Only because people don't understand the question.

Poll: Americans Don't Understand Background Checks Are Gun Control's Trojan Horse

(Of course this demonstrates exactly the folly of "battle of the web links". You can google up a link to say anything. Case in point the previous graphic from MsNBC)

LOL now people don't understand the question.....

Do you really think your king would be speaking about gun control if it wasn't a popular issue among democrats?. I thought you knew your king, what kind of pawn are you?

If 1/2 of 330 million people don't want the laws changed, it isn't going to be effective if you did change them by fiat, there are 350 million private guns already and a long tradition in the US of gun ownership. In regions where ownership is respected, the local police will not uphold an unpopular law and a rejected buyer due to laws can buy on the private market easily.

I never buy new guns personally. Why would anyone? They cost way more and you just told folks like Hillary you own one.

Make all the new laws you want, psychopathic killers are going to kill and this country is loaded with hate filled people, IMO. Ted Bundy didn't use guns and he killed this many girls. If this grade school mentality, hate filled narcissist didn't have his gun, he would have used his mommies car to run over a crowd outside or poisoned some water or come up with other ways to murder people so he could be on TV for 15 minutes.

So 90%+ of American's wouldn't want background checks if they were as paranoid and prone to logical fallacies as the author of that opinion piece? Got it.

Classic example of "My opinion would't be unpopular if people really understood it." No, we understand it just fine.

Dear Heart, the King will say anything to distract from the issues SHE faces. This is why the illegal aliens like her too.

The thing is, once elected, she won't actually do anything about it.
