Yep. No more need for teleprompters.

Here's Ted Cruz, speaking - and that thing that looks just like a teleprompter really isn't because... well, just because it gives Republicans warm fuzzies to think that no one but Obama uses teleprompters.

And another one of Ted Cruz with a not-a-teleprompter.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, with two things that totally really surely aren't teleprompters.

And Rubio.

And Sarah Palin, who pioneered the "OMG, only losers use teleprompters!" meme.

And it would be remiss if we neglected to mention Ronald Reagan, the patron saint of all things conservative - including never ever using teleprompters!

The candidates do show the ability to memorize a number of canned responses and to quickly spew one regardless of whether it actually answers a posed question or not. While there are a couple characters, the mainstream candidates are just the face of a carefully managed image that is honed by a team of analysts that carefully craft talking points that they test through constant polling.

No more teleprompters? Is that why Obama pauses so much in between words??

It is almost like there is a control center in his head where little guys process a question posed to the potus then it goes up on a screen where it is dissected and a team starts to decipher it and come up with a answer while the PC representative looks over their shoulder, the Dem party rep over another and the lawyers look over yet another shoulder. When everyone agrees that his answer will not offend anyone except republicans the answer is sent to the tongue.

This team in Obamas head must be getting tired, has anyone noticed that his pauses in between words are getting longer and longer?
