He may not have gotten all of those black ministers everyone was talking about, but The Donald has earned the respect (if not the vote) of one influencer of society… Dee Snider. The Twisted Sister front man has allegedly answer the call (literally… on the phone) from Trump and given him the thumbs up to use his song, “We’re not gonna take it” during is campaign events. (Reporting from The Hill)

“He called and he asked, which I appreciated,” Snider told Canadian Business in a recent interview. “I said, ‘Look, we don’t see eye to eye on everything — there are definitely issues that we’re far apart on.’ But thinking back to when I wrote the song and what the song is about, it’s about rebellion, speaking your mind and fighting the system.”

Maybe Trump really IS inevitable.

The first "album" I ever got was Twisted Sister. It was actually a cassette tape.

not so much an endorsement but but an agreement to let trump use the song. from your quote:

“I said, ‘Look, we don’t see eye to eye on everything — there are definitely issues that we’re far apart on."

oh well, good for trump. fun song, a lot of nostalgic memories attached.

now i wonder who will get the quiet riot endorsement?

Interesting. I recall that Dee Snider appeared on a Celebrity Apprentice, and did very well. I assume he and Mr Trump got to know each other.

The retarded adolescent ravings of Twister Sister are indeed the perfect metaphor for Trump and his groupies!

[and I think Dee Snider just naturally likes people who have even worse hair than he does!]
