You know what I don't see? I don't see thread after thread after thread about Sanders or Clinton. Gosh, one would think that if people had such faith in Sanders or Clinton, we would be seeing all kinds of threads talking about how great they are, what they're going to do for the country, how awesome it was to go to their rallies, how excited people are to vote for them.

Instead, those who are definitely going to vote for one of them are coming on to threads about Trump, whining incessantly. For those who claim to dislike Trump so much, they sure do spend a lot of time talking about him, and not about their own candidate.

That speaks volumes.

Exactly. None of the other candidates have anything of substance to say. They all read off of a piece of paper.

Is the rumor that Rubio just got caught having an affair true?

Yes it does. It's like Hillary Clinton's rallies. Nobody cares, nobody shows up.

What rumor? Can you post a link? This is the first I heard. Must be fresh news?

It isn't fresh news. I read about it 1 or 2 months ago. It has just been kept low key. I don't know if it's true or not but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Which other Republican candidates hold rallies? How many people, at some kind of meeting with voters, does it take to call it a rally?

I've always heard in prior primaries, that Iowans like small meet and greet type meet ups. So, I got to thinking --- maybe that's the reason the Iowa winner doesn't become the Republican candidate. Because if you do very small gatherings, then you have to do a lot of them in Iowa to reach a lot of Iowa voters. If you are so tied down to many little meetings in Iowa, that doesn't leave you much extra time to speak to people in other states.

from the poll that was released today, doesn't sound like his rallies did much good.

As for Rubio and an affair, as was said this morning on a radio show: for heavens sake people take what yo see on the net with a grain of salt. Maybe he did have an affair, maybe he is just trying to keep up with Trump?

Irrelevant. Even if it is true, if I was preparing Rubio for the next debate I could easily turn this into a WIN for him. The script would go something like this:

Other candidate: How can you be trusted when you cannot be honest to your own family?
Rubio: When Newt Gingrich was exposed for marital infidelity, I don't recall you challenging his integrity. Just a few years prior, Bill Clinton was exposed having an affair and his approval rating soared. You had nothing to say about it. The only reason you are bringing up my affair is because your campaign manager has convinced you that attacking me is going to help your campaign. I am not here to attack anyone. I am here to run for President because I am proof of the American Dream. My father was a bartender and my mother was a maid.
[Pause for thunderous applause and standing ovation.]
