An outlet has examined the amount of time devoted to each candidate and found an extreme disparity in coverage. The study was done at the point when both candidates were garnering the same approximate percentages of support.

Rather ironic given the segment that generally insists that the media has a particular bias.

"The results confirm two media extremes in play this year, and not just at ABC News. The network newscasts are wildly overplaying Trump, who regularly attracts between 20-30 percent of primary voter support, while at the same time wildly underplaying Sanders, who regularly attracts between 20-30 percent of primary voter support. (Sanders' supporters have long complained about the candidate's lack of coverage.)

Obviously, Trump is the GOP frontrunner and its reasonable that he would get more attention than Sanders, who's running second for the Democrats. But 234 total network minutes for Trump compared to just 10 network minutes for Sanders, as the Tyndall Report found?
"

Basically, our national media have decided that only one candidate is worthy of mention.
And it isn't because they have cut back on campaign coverage.
ABC, for example, has devoted a lot of time to campaign coverage.

"Look at that ABC number again: 261 minutes devoted to campaign coverage this year, and less than one minute of that has specifically been for Sanders. How does that even happen?

So no, Sanders didn't get virtually ignored this year by World News Tonight because the show's cutting back on campaign coverage. Sanders got virtually ignored by ABC because there was a conscious decision to do so.
"

Yeah, the fix is in. Seems pretty obvious who is controlling the media now.

Hahaha, the DNC doesn't want Sanders in the race, they want Clinton. The ruling class on both sides wants their status quo puppet. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Welcome to the issue that conservatives have been pointing out for years! The media controls the narrative and frames it according to how they want the election to play out, but balancing that with getting ratings. Trump gets ratings. They may want to carry him through the nominating process for the ratings, but once the two presidential candidates have been named, the democrat candidate will get the lion's share of the positive media attention!

From the link:

"And before anyone suggests ABC has somehow been in the pocket of the Clinton campaign and that's why Sanders got slighted, note that World News Tonight has set aside roughly the same amount of time this year to cover Republican-fed controversies surrounding Clinton's email and details about the Benghazi terror attack, as it has to cover Clinton's actual campaign."

Yeah and? What are you trying to say? The truth is the media AND the DNC don't want Sanders, they want Clinton.

Instead of whining about Sanders not getting time, what about the other Republicans? Trump isn't running against Sanders right now.

I know, and she's probably one of the most intelligent, well-informed people on that stage. I bet she would have known was the Nuclear Triad was.
