A new Public Policy Polling survey shows that Clinton trails Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) by 3 percentage points, 47 percent to 44 percent, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) by 7 points, 48 percent to 41 percent, in general election match-ups.

Iowa poll finds Trump third-party run would help Clinton | TheHill

This poll pretty much reflects national polling.

1. Rubio would most likely beat Clinton in a general election.

2. With Cruz, he would be likely to lose to Clinton.

3. Trump is a SURE LOSS to Clinton.

4. Supporting a Trump third-party bid is essentially supporting Clinton.

Trump fans, please show me polling that suggests that he could win against Clinton in a general election.

Sorry. I don't vote for someone so that someone else loses. I vote for who I think is the best candidate.

Even if the "best candidate" is sure to lose? You're essentially voting for the person that you don't support. Perhaps asinine logic like this is why Democrats keep winning.

Yep. I vote for who I think is best.

Im sorry you don't like that but that is how I vote. That is how voting should be.

So you'd rather blow the whole thing and get nothing, instead of voting for someone who represents most of the things you like and getting something?

Yep. I will know that I voted for the best candidate. If everyone did that then we would be in good shape.

Well, I'd hate to burst your bubble, but that's not how politics is. That attitude only helps Democrats.

Hate to burst your bubble. I don't care about politics over all. Only who I think is best to be president.

I'm voting for Trump. Don't care what the polls say at this time. He has not begun focusing on Hillary yet. Relax, Trump will pull it off!

That's fine, but you're not taking into account the realities of the current political climate.
