Sen. Sander's plan would save money by elimination the health insurance company's administrative overhead, executive salaries and owner's profits. Applying those savings to actual healthcare pays for a lot of medicine. Controlling charges, fees and pharmaceutical company's monopoly profits would also lower costs.

In summary a single payer plan reduces the cost of health care by replacing the relatively helpless purchaser with a single payer that has real control over prices.

A good portion of medicare claims are fraudulent. Eliminate the insurance companies, and that same fraud will be extended to all health care claims. Whatever is 'saved' by eliminating insurance companies will be more than made up for in fraud by leeches.

Then give back the money I paid into Medicare and I won't use it.

Bernie is one of the few that was demanding that those running the V.A. be fired and real reform be implemented.

Obama did nothing. Bush did nothing.

Once the War is over the soldiers are an unnecessary expense. Society has never been willing to pay the full cost of war for the wealth by supporting veteran's. The wealthy have always considered soldiers to be expendable and always have and most likely always will.

Quoting the marines: Semper Fi, brothers and welcome home.

The likelihood of the wars ending don't seem good. Paul has dropped out. One can still root for Sanders otherwise they continue.

Subsidize poor behavior and punish good behavior. That sounds like a road paved with liberal intentions.

Don't worry, the Sanderistas will save your banana republic.

How about you legalize not paying those legally required taxes? You seem to be all powerful and super rich. I mean you sit here all day posting and you can still afford to take care of 100 million people.

I got an idea, get out of your parent's basement sometime. You'll become far less liberal (i.e. self loathing) when you start to enjoy life and begin to look at yourself in a more positive way and as a unique individual who does not need to hate everything about themselves. The odd thing is being conservative is more liberating than being "liberal" and you'll finally be able to start enjoying life and all its beauty.

Or you can sit there in the dark dreaming up as many enemies to fulfill your fantasy world as possible.
