They met with La Raza, they met with the ACLU, they met with President Obama, they met with the Chamber of Commerce, and they wrote this bill and he became the chief proponent of this bill. And it would have increased the lawful flow of immigration from the colossal number of one million a year to one million point five, and it would have legalized eleven million people and put them on the path to citizenship.
Very true and his Florida spokes person and person handling the phones for him after he became Senator, told not just me but others the same... that legal aliens just have to go home after their visa expires and they know if they have a immigration chance or not. (related to E2 visa holders and their kids).
After asking why Rubio supports illegal her answer was that they have no path to a green card and their family needs help... so why no help to change immigration for legal aliens and their immigration issues?
Rubio and his team only cared about asking for donations but never answer any email.
Even the Democrat Senators replied as well as other Rep. Floridian leaders... all except for Rubio who never replied to the 3 emails send. Unless you count asking for money and going through the process to verify who you are as a reply but never once responding to the questions.

So what? We cannot allow every needy person with or without family to come here. What about that doesn't Rubio get? Just because they managed to come here illegally and not get caught or over stayed their visa should not get them a pass on the enforcement of our immigration laws.
Back then, Rubio was talking very tough on immigration by necessity. Rubio’s anti-amnesty position was one of the central promises of his campaign. In fact, Rubio slammed Charlie Crist for being pro-amnesty. Remember that?
Unfortunately, even though Marco Rubio is only in the Senate today because he claimed to be in favor of securing the border and stopping amnesty, his position shifted 180 degrees and he became the front man for the Gang-of-Eight amnesty bill.
It is the inconsistency truly disgusting here.
You will never know what they guy would do once elected. He cannot be trusted no matter what you believe.
Regardless you are for or against amnesty, you need to be careful about this guy. what you see is not what you get.
