by four former Chairs of the Council of Economic Advisers for Presidents Obama and Clinton!!!

OH MY

An open letter from those econ heavies to Sanders and his clueless, delusional cheerleaders...

We are concerned to see the Sanders campaign citing extreme claims by Gerald Friedman about the effect of Senator Sanders’s economic plan—claims that cannot be supported by the economic evidence. ...

All that and more posted today on Krug's (excellent) blog...

Economics and Politics by Paul Krugman - The Conscience of a Liberal - The New York Times Main&contentCollection=Opinion

Time for a REALITY check, fellow Dems.

The stakes are WAY too high to take a flyer on some old socialist peddling "voodoo".

GET A GRIP ... HILLARY is BY FAR our BEST BET to keep republican INCOMPETENCE out of the White House for another EIGHT...

4 Clinton economists who sold out the working class of America dont endorse the New Dealer Sanders.

OK, this is breaking news.

The fact that you call him a socialist puts your whole agenda into question. His policies are straight out of the mainstream in the rest of the civilized world and polling done of the American people. The people are social democratic, just like Sanders, even though corporate media wont tell you that.

You are acting like a rabid Fox reporter trying to whip the peons into some type of frenzy. Your Hillary is getting crushed by Bernie among independents, young people and non-traditional voters in both polling and voting results. That's not what you want to see in a general election candidate. She is beating Bernie among the people who are LEAST likely to switch to the republicans in the general election, minorities....Let that sink in.

LOL, Mike ... not only did those four economic heavyweights (and Krug too) not endorse Bernie's black magic ... they took it BEHIND THE 'SHED...

... Making such promises runs against our party’s best traditions of evidence-based policy making and undermines our reputation as the party of responsible arithmetic. ...

Unlike Hillary, pub attack dogs have ignored the old socialist to this point, but would literally CRUCIFY him if given the opportunity in a general election campaign.

PLEASE get your head out of the sand, man...

Grow a spine man. Boohoo, scary 'publicans. You are acting like a rabid Fox reporter yourself so you better switch to Bush or whoever you support. He has the same donors as Hillary too, and they are the ones they are beholden to, not people like you who are just a simple voter.

well, I am not a donkey. But I think Bernie has the special charm really is attractive to many Americans (left or right)

He has a very clear, powerful anti-Wall Street message, which centers on themes of income inequality and an ascendant billionaire class that’s crushing average families.

I also like his hair, and the ill fitting suit. Very down to earth, humble guy who cares.

Crazy, but he is likeable.

I do agree with the voodoo economics part, but between him and Clinton, I think he has a much better chance of winning.

When the political parties have boiled down to winning in spite of the other, the losers are us.

Big Labor leadership wants Hillary. The people that Big Labor is supposed to represent, want Sanders. It's awfully reflective of politics these days. Yet no matter how many democrats have been running the white house, organized labor has been gutted time and time again, and is at an all time low in the United States.

Corrupt union leadership not looking out for the best interest of its members? Say it ain't so!

i agree with the bolded 100%

Many people want Hillary, labor leadership like you mentioned, wall street, etc. I have no ideas why many Democrats want her, the only explanation is that they thought she could easily beat anybody in Republican party. She is really just another neoconservative hawk

Nothing to worry about. Congress would not in million years pass anything in his platform. So go vote for Bernie.
