How are you going to prosecute someone without positively identifying them?

In this particular Nevada caucus? Or in general?

In general, if you want to determine voter fraud you need to determine who is voting. If you have not positively identified who the voter is you have no means to prevent fraud.

Still trying to move on? Why not address the issue in this thread?

Um, OK.

I dunno where you live, but wherever I've lived, I've had to sign my ballot.

Was that not true in the Nevada caucus?

This is the issue, we have the potential for voter fraud. What I'm asking you is how are you going to prevent, determine or prosecute voter fraud if you have not positively identified who is voting?

Let me ask you this, suppose we passed voter ID nationwide. In addition to preventing in person voter fraud at each polling place we can have card readers which will greatly speed up the process of voting. You can seamlessly integrate things like instant registration, you could literally have people come in and swipe their ID for registration. You wouldn't even need to be at your local polling place too vote.

Nothing that you proposed would change the situation in the case that this thread is based on.
