Trump said during the Greta Van (whatever) interveiw that he would choose a traditional politician for VP. Many of have said the ideal person would be Rubio, their strengths and weaknesses offset each other well.

I do not think that is earth shattering news or that much of a prediction it is basic common logic and myself and others have said the same thing. Trump needs a policy wonk and luckily he has 2 that are also in battle ground states Kasich in Ohio and Rubio in Florida. I doubt there is a deal both Kasich and Rubio know if they do not win they are on the short list on who ever does win. During one of the debates Trump pointed to Kasich and said" I am starting to like you better", that is why they are not attacking him and Trump is not attacking them. They all are smart enough to know and figure out the obvious writing on the wall and no special deal is needed.

I am not crazy about Rubio but I think this would get the GOP behind them and make a lot of people vote differently in the election making Trump more palatable for people who once said they would never vote for him.
The scuttlebutt last week was that Rubio was going to have Nikki Haley be HIS VP running mate. The scuttlebutt next week will be..............................

Would I be crazy about Rubio being Trump's VP? No, but to appease more voters I guess and I don't care what the GOPe thinks.

Hypothetically I think that one of his sons or Ivanka would do a better job as VP imo.

I was thinking Hulk Hogan, the guy from Duck Dynasty, or Jesse Ventura.

Why not make the Presidency a full blown laughingstock, it will already be that with Trump as President.

If that's the case, then better Hillary battling a raucous republican-dominated Congress who opposes her tooth and nail for the sake of it (except of course when it comes to screwing average income law-abiding citizens on US soil, where both sides agree 100%, just in different languages), like we've had since 2011, less damage done at a slower pace.

Not optimal, but could be a lot worse, like RINOs in the executive branch with no effective opposition at all in the legislative branch.

But I'm saying it. Due to her ineptitude at diplomacy, Libya was destroyed and left in utter chaos. 1000s of lives lost and now millions of refugees headed to Europe and elsewhere. ISIS operates there without worry.

I don't understand why critically thinking adults would defend & support Clinton's every failure without question.

Nice job of conveniently ignoring the needless invasion/occupation of Iraq that spawned ISIS.

But hang in there, Donny's bound to come around and agree with your opinion, at least for a few minutes now and then.
