The question seems reasonable, as some KKK sort of groups have endorsed trump, and maybe some person who is a voter would like to know what he thinks of them. Of course, if he denounced the KKK, he might lose more votes than he would gain, tho.
It seems with trump, any question that he doesn't like is a 'gotcha' question. Maybe someone should post a new thread asking who on CD would denounce the KKK and see how many people respond saying it is a 'gotcha' question.
There are currently about 5,000 KKK members. But there are many more people who agree with their philosophy to varying degrees. His disavowal could alienate many voters.
He said he couldn't denounce groups that he knows nothing about. He said if he researches them, and they are involved in wrongdoing, he would denounce them.
