On Wednesday, Feb.24, white nationalist David Duke endorsed Donald Trump by telling his audience voting for any presidential candidate other than The Donald would be similar to committing “treason to your heritage.” According to Politico, the former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard decided to discuss the presidential election on his radio show, David Duke Radio Program. Although he doesn’t agree with all of Donald Trump’s proposed policies, he has made it clear that he does support his presidential candidacy.

Add to this, who would want his support anyway. They talk about Bush, Perry or Graham, well at least support or endorsement from them never hurt a candidate.
There's a special place in hell for women who don't support another woman=woman owe Hillary their vote.Some people say blacks owe black candidates their votes.Latinos owe latinos.....these rules don't apply if the candidate is Republican of course and white males only support white males for racist/sexist/ethnic reasons.
An endorsement from someone like David Duke isn't about a candidate,its about David Duke and getting a little media spotlight again.If David Duke actually wanted to 'help' a candidate he wouldn't say anything....or he would endorse Cruz or Rubio to bring negative attention on them.

Seems like a perfect fit considering Trump keeps a book of Hitler speeches at his bedside he reads every night, he's been caught multiple times re-tweeting white supremacists on his Twitter and every chapter of the KKK endorses and supports him. They say he's been great for recruiting and their membership has spiked considerably, they call it the "Trump bump". A dangerous and pathetic fraud.
