Warren Buffett has said Clinton is the best, has endorsed her, and regularly campaigns for her.
I highly respect his knowledge and opinion on economic matters so that's good enough for me. He's long advocated raising taxes on wealthy people like himself.
Of course, Warren Buffet is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the U.S. trade policies. I haven’t seen him lift a finger toward implementing reform.

Good grief, you've never heard of the Buffett Plan?

Unfortunately for her, economic matters don't trump all of her other shortcomings so most won't look past her "surface". Good for my candidate though.
Of course there is. All the Laffer curve says is that, for any tax, there is a single tax rate that maximizes revenue. The capital gains tax is a tax, so there is a single capital gains tax rate that maximizes revenue. QED
The Laffer curve. What a joke. A conversation between Laffer, Cheney, and Rumsfeld.

Please do tell me what you know about the Laffer curve, in as much detail as you'd care to provide. Art Laffer was my professor for money and banking in 1976-1977.
Cheney and Rumsfeld are defense guys, not economists. But you knew that.

Hey Larry...
Yes, that's what was so funny . Laffer having a conversation with Cheney & Rumsfeld regarding economics. Wasn't that in 1974? Cheney was not in the department of defense he was chief of staff for Ford after Rumsfeld who moved on to Secretary of Defense. But you knew that !
Laffer's theory ==== often lower tax rates will lead to more tax revenue by boosting economic growth. But that hasn't happened has it in the last 20 + years. With all the companies going offshore the economic growth hasn't been there.
Reagan really embraced Laffer and you can see what happened to the corporate tax rate.(1981-1989).
