Friends who stood in a long Super Tuesday Texas line to vote for Cruz said all everyone was talking about was a Trump/Cruz ticket.
General consensus in the line was Cruz was going to carry heavily carry their precinct but everyone felt like he's got no chance nationwide so he will soon drop out and support Trump who will pick him for VP. And although they don't like Trump, they'll vote for that ticket.

Donald Trump doesn't particularly like Ted Cruz don't you watch the debates? I think he'll choose someone else for VP

That would stop me voting for the ticket. Cruz is not acceptable as a candidate.

I simply can't imagine those two in any kind of partnership.

First, there's the massive alpha male problem.

Second, there's "philosophical" issues. Trump wants to do what he thinks will keep him popular. Cruz wants to do what he thinks god is telling him to do.

I don't see it ending well.

Never. Cruz has principles. He is no Krispy Kreme Christie.

And if Cruz did accept a VP role with Trump, that would indicate that I was wrong in ever supporting him and I certainly wouldn't in that scenario!!

There are legitimate questions about Cruz's eligibility that Trump himself raised.

Not going to happen.
