At Secretive Meeting, Tech CEOs And Top Republicans Commiserate, Plot To Stop Trump

Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute's annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.

The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Among social networking billionaires were Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan,

"The key task now, to once again paraphrase Karl Marx, is less to understand Trump than to stop him," Kristol wrote.

Wonder if someone said, "You know what would be the cheapest and surest way to take him out?"

A self-driving Google Car speeding down Madison Avenue . . . .

Nah . . . .

And to think that there are people who actually support this type of usurping.

Why else would they be meeting with tech CEOs?

This should concern anyone with a brain, regardless of which candidate you support.

This sounds like the secret meeting at Jekyll Island, where the plot to create the Federal Reserve took place.

Secretive meeting from Top dogs. Sounds like the mafia and everything the republican voters are sick and tired of.

They are afraid that the lobbyist will not have leverage to make the politician do their bidding and protect their profits.

They are shaking and that is a good sign.

I say the more they all try to bring him down = the more we should tae this as a good sign.

The politicians and their money lobbyist are on notice.

A mentally unhinged former Trump University student, whose loans get mysteriously paid off, hurling frozen Trump steaks and Trump water bottles with deadly accuracy .........

Great book plots await.

It's fun to speculate but at the same time I see so many correlations between this election and the '68 election. I don't really want a repeat of what happened to Bobby Kennedy, no matter how much I enjoy bashing Trump. He appears to be a very loved father by all his children, which does say he has at least some redeeming qualities.
