Today is a huge day for both parties. We'll probably know this evening if Hillary has knocked out The Burn and if Rubio and Kasich are out of the race.
At my polling place today, you're supposed to go to the first desk, a lady with a computer and she finds your name there and then asks you if you are Repub or Dem. so the guy next to her gave me a ballot before I even got asked which was I. I handed it back. meanwhile the other guy in front of me came back to the desk and told him he gave him the wrong ballot. Sheesh!!! then when I gave them the ballot to put thru the machine, it spit it out 4 times. finally they realized they needed another signature and it went thru. Not too bright there!
As I posted earlier in a prediction thread .... Trump was the heavy favorite and the reason for that is Ben Carson.
Trump took home 73 percent of the vote and will win all nine delegates, according to Jason Osborne, who was the executive director of the local Republican Party.
Osborne previously worked as a senior communications adviser to retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who endorsed Carson last week.
Trump now qualifies to be nominated under Rule 40.
He is the only candidate to reach this milestone at this point.
Sooooo, I went looking for photos of the place and found out, they've already caucused and Trump won. No idea what time zone they are in.
"Donald Trump has won the Republican caucus in the Northern Mariana Islands, a remote U.S. territory that consists of 15 islands in the Pacific Ocean. Trump took home 73 percent of the vote and will win all nine delegates, according to Jason Osborne, who was the executive director of the local Republican Party. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz followed behind with 24 percent. Both Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio made barely a blip -- Kasich took .02 percent and Rubio .01 percent of 471 total votes."
