Too bad people don't even realise this

Maybe GOP stole the spotlight but Democrats are torn apart as well.

Quote:
Anyone who thinks the Democratic Party isn't imploding for the exact same reasons the Republican party is imploding is purposefully ignoring reality.

Legions of pundits are crawling out of the woodwork to gloat over the implosion of the Republican Party. Corrupt, crony-capitalist, Imperial over-reach--good riddance.

But far fewer pundits dare declare that the other corrupt, crony-capitalist party of Imperial over-reach--yes, the Democratic Party--is imploding, too, for the same reason: it too is rotten to the core and exists solely to protect the privileges of the few at the expense of the many.

Democrats need to ask themselves: if Hillary Clinton is the shining epitome of what the Democratic Party stands for and represents, then what does the Democratic party stand for other than corruption, greed, pay-to-play, Imperial over-reach, elites who are above the law, and a permanent war state overseen by a corporatocracy bent on protecting the unearned privileges of the few at the expense of the many?

I have been waiting for this to take hold of the Democrat's. The large crowds and young people attending Bernie's events are starting to see just how rigged the game is and they don't like it either. Hillary should be very, very worried about now because there is no way she can control it. It would be great to see Trump and Bernie in the general !!!!!

absolutely right, This is what we need, blow up both party's and maybe people can actually vote independently. And maybe an elected official can vote independently. Imagine that?

Excellent article. I been saying for a while that both parties have been hijacked by a corporate elite. The Democratic Party still has a reputation from years ago that they care about workers and the Middle Class but now they take them for granted. The Republican Party does not even bother to pretend it cares.

Last year they thought that they had the election in the bag. Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton. Either way, the Establishment wins and the American people loose. But Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump had other plans......

For Democrats, imploding means two candidates fighting out the primary.

Okay.

There are FAR more Independents in this country today than either Republicans or Democrats (42%, 26%, 29% respectively), which shatters the "Hillary is more electable" argument when Bernie is crushing her among Independents. The overwhelming majority of Dems and Repubs will vote for whoever is their nominee-Independents win elections.

Most democrats I know will be ok with either Bernie or Hillary over whoever ends up on the right. There are some radical Bernie supporters, but not all are (and certainly not as many as are radical about Trump), and most would rather go for the more tolerant candidates. Sorry to disappoint the republicans, but the dems are not imploding and they haven't sat out the last couple of elections the way the way the born-again republicans have.

Hillary isn't worried! Bernie is promising a slice of a pie that never will be placed in a oven to be baked, that pie will be smashed in the faces of those following Sanders. Remember Jim Jones of the People Temple, he made a lot of promises like Sanders?
