Yeah, because I'm sure powerhouses like Jindal, Pataki, and Graham were really cutting into Trump's piece of the pie.

Even as Trump's competition has shrunk to normal levels, he remains a weak frontrunner. 37% of the vote is unimpressive, no matter how you slice it.

Trump 2016!
Ehhh? Republicans are the ones frantically trying to tear Trump down--Democrats had nothing to do with the #NeverTrump movement.

They know full well that Trump hasn't a hope in hell of winning the election, and will damage the party's image in defeat. If they truly felt he could get to 270, they'd support him.

It fundamentally won't matter if it's Trump or Clinton. Trump was probably planted by the Clintons anyway.

Not surprising that the Trumplets can't discern the basic facts about what has been happening.
I have Trumpettes arguing that NYS is in play this year. That...that pretty much says it all. They don't live in reality.

In their bubble, Trump is a universally loved figure, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Their "you attack him because you fear him" defense is weak too. Sarah Palin remains a lightning rod for criticism to this day--I doubt Democrats are losing sleep at night worrying about her.

NY is definitely in play. Trump has a 50+ point lead there now in the primary. Once we get to the general, he'll be hammering Hillary harder than Bill hammered Monica! except in a different kinda way...

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - New York Republican Presidential Primary

Hillary has a 48 point lead over Sanders in the same poll you're referencing. That's among registered Democrats, whose presence in the state is much larger than Republicans.

Poll: Trump would lose home state NY in general election | TheHill

New York will be among the least competitive states this election.

I have nothing against Trump, he's just not the person that will go along with wrong like most Republicans.

And you gotta know that Hillary is going to run that clip of Trump saying what a great job Hillary is doing -- over and over and over...

NY has been a sold blue state since 1988 and a pathetic clown like Trump wont change that. He has about as much chance of winning in NY as he does in CA which is ZERO. Trump will be destroyed in a general election.
