What Next for Conservatives?

Now that Mitt Romney has stepped aside in the GOP presidential race,
many conservatives are trying to figure out where to go from here. John
McCain will be the Republican presidential nominee. Conservatives are
dispirited because on many issues they don't consider him one of them. And it's
true -- he is a moderate who considered leaving the GOP in 2001 ... he did
think about joining John Kerry's ticket in 2004 ... and he did side with
liberals over conservatives on everything from immigration to closing Gitmo.

My thing is: no matter which one of the 3 get in, they will ensure the US population exploded with 200 million more immigrants (added to the 20 million already here) in 40 years.

So the country is in deep **** no matter what. Our only hope is to get a Conservative House of Representatives to stop all amnesties by any of the 3 liberals who are leading for President now.

So get out to vote, even if you vote for Hillary and not McCain.

So one 4 year term president is going to effect 40 years of immigration policy. Wow, what a legacy!

Her letter is a crock. She's going downhill towards being another Ann Coulter. A pox on them both.

You're kidding, right? Do you really see no difference between Clinton and McCain? I've been voting since 1968. And I've always voted Republican. But that doesn't mean that each candidate I voted for was my ideal candidate. Even when I voted for Reagan I felt he wasn't strongly enough pro-life. McCain wasn't my first choice. But if he is the choice of the party, I'll support him. And if he wins I'll support his policies to the extent that they are consistent with my values. And if they don't I'll oppose him. I, and millions like me, opposed Bush's "comprehensive immigration reform" and we prevailed. It's up to us to hold McCain's feet to the fire if he strays from his base. It's that simple.

Given the current political climate, I'd say all their days are numbered.

edit: their only hope is a Democratic President.

Great letter from Laura, she is so beautiful. Find it hard to vote for McCAin because of he is for stem cell research on....can't say the word, it's goulish. We have to keep fighting, people do not want illegal immigration so I wonder why they voted for McCAin?

Laura is great for air-heads. Nice letter from her without any specifics. By listening to her show for about an hour it's easy to tell that her target audience is not very educated.
