Why isn't making fun of Sarah Palin considered mysogynistic, but Rosie O’Donnell is off limits??
Nobody called Palin "a fat pig." (Trump's words -- right?) Rosie O'Donnell is also not out there giving drunken, incoherent rambling political speeches to serious audiences.
If Rosie was giving idiotic political speeches, she'd be fair game, and if Palin did her stand-up routine in a comedy club where she belongs, nobody would make fun of her.
All I heard from Palin, decyphering the garble as best I could, were the ancient conservative talking points that have been beaten to a pulp over the past 8 years. Not a single thing new in any of them, and the world has moved on since 2008.
It's no wonder why the audience was bored stiff. They've already heard all of this a thousand times. Mentioning Trump's "Art of the Deal" (which she pronounced 'dill') didn't help, and since Wisconsinites don't misprounounce that word, I say confusion in some face every time she said the word.
Hopping at random from one topic to another didn't help her audience either. They couldn't keep up with all the sudden leaps in subject matter.
This is all of Palin's problems in a nutshell. She never bothers to keep up with the present, never tries to sharpen her focus, never tries to sharpen her slurry speech patterns, and yet somehow keeps thinking its someone else's problem that she's fading in popularity. Worst of all, she never helps her candidate.
I have to give some credit, though… at least this time, she didn't show up to an expensive dinner event wearing an old T-shirt and a pair of too-tight jeans.
And, if it is possible to insult nursery rhyme characters, you just did. Shame on you!!!
