Sanders can't win the Democratic nomination and he knows it. Sanders is going negative and the media is supporting him in airing his frustrations with Hillary's decision to move on to the General Election.

I don't know why Hillary would duck a debate. She does well in debates and it's one of the few occasions she gets extensive coverage.
