This is Trump's only event today, coming a a crucial time for him. Cruz is all but invisible. Only Trump is expected to answer the tough questions it seems.
I don't think it is going to move the needle. He evaded one question that could have made headlines, and a lot of headache for him tomorrow. The question was by a female asking him how is it that we are paying taxes out the wazoo but see plenty of people who are not working and getting $4000 tax "refunds" for taxes they never paid. She was of course asking about EIT. What can you say? They shouldn't be getting any but who can say it in this climate.
Trump continues to be the only candidate who talks about specifics. He may of flip-flopped on a hypothetical abortion question - but Cruz never gets specific on issues. And nobody flip-flops on his positions like Cruz.
Cruz? Has anyone heard of him lately? He is hiding behind Trump's wake while Trump is being sliced and diced.
