Naw, the RNC used him and then hung him out to dry. He's back in the Senate. Hopefully he learned to be himself and not trust those guys. Just some wishful thinking on my part.

Rubio never did seem to be interested in doing anything that took any real effort so yeah, I can see him laying back waiting for someone to hand him something.
